Accessing The Main Entrance of the Building with the Openpath Mobile App
You have received an email from OpenPath which will give you access to the entry doors at your building. Further instructions are in the email. Please download the OpenPath app on your mobile device and set your Bluetooth settings to "always". When you arrive at the studios, you can swipe or wave your hand near the access point and the door will unlock shortly thereafter. Let us know if you have any issues. 😊
How to use the Openpath Building Access App
Entering your credential key into the your Best Switch App for Studio Access
Here are the steps to help with getting you set up:
1. Download the application named Switch Mobile Access by Dormakaba USA Inc. on either your Android or Apple IOS mobile phone. (The Icon is red and white and has the word “Best” on it)
2. Register your phone with the app by first entering your phone number.
3. Enter the 6 digit verification code you will receive via text.
4. Press the bottom left "Keys" button so it is highlighted red.
5. Press the key button at the top middle of your screen.
6. Press the + button at the top right to add a key (Code to follow)
7. Enter your 16 digit code you will soon receive in an email titled: Lockt Secure Access Registration Token. The code is not case sensitive, however, it is unique to you and your device specifically, PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS CODE WITH ANYONE ELSE OR ANY OTHER DEVICE
8. You will see a green bar appear at the bottom of your screen to confirm the key has registered. Once it has, Press Cancel on the top right to go back to your Home Screen.
9 Once at the Home Screen, you will see an "Activate" button. Press the activate button, stand close to your door and press the lock to wake it. You will see your lock light up with blue lights to confirm your lock is awake. The app will state that it is searching for your lock at that point.
10. Once the lock connects to your app, the lights will turn green on the lock and your phone app, at which point, you can twist the smart lock as you would a key, to lock or unlock your unit door. You will have a 5 seconds countdown to twist the smart lock to either lock or unlock the door.
